VITAL

Kavitha Subash is Director, Central Services of VITAL, the Central Agency for Corporate Shared Services in the Singapore Public Service and a Department under the Ministry of Finance.

In this portfolio, Kavitha oversees a few departments, namely Operations Planning, Digitalisation Services, Credit Management, Pension Services and Procurement and Travel Services. She also takes on the roles of Chief Data and Records Officer for VITAL. Some key projects that Kavitha oversees are the digitization of civil servants’ personal files and rolling out Data Strategy for VITAL.

Kavitha started her career as a Finance Officer with the Ministry of Environment in 1999, which is now known as the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. She transferred to the National Environment Agency in 2003 when it was set-up before finally joining VITAL in 2006 when it was formed. Kavitha graduated from National University of Singapore with a degree in Mathematics in 1999 and received a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in 2015.
